About Us

Reconnaissance Management Consulting Group Inc. was formed by Kaye Grant in 2004 to provide business owners and non-profit organizations with expert advice and assistance in a variety of management capacities. Ms Grant and a group of gifted and reliable associates bring a range of experience and expertise to each project. Their work has covered the spectrum from large, long-term strategic development projects to smaller contracts requiring business plan review and analysis. They have worked on program evaluation, curriculum development and delivery, market demand analysis, feasibility studies, survey design and results analysis, project management, board governance, and the development of operational processes and procedures.

Kaye Grant is an experienced business consultant, project manager, researcher and trainer. She combines her background in education with her business experience to assist entrepreneurs and non-profit organizations acquire knowledge and enhance their skills in order to develop their internal capacity.

During her practice, she has managed consulting projects of varying size and scale. Her work includes outlining key activities, developing the project framework, and identifying, engaging and managing the various resources. She has experience in project planning and management, market research and analysis, marketing strategy development, business planning, program reviews and management training.

A skilled researcher, Kaye has developed, administered and analyzed the results of a variety of research projects involving both primary and secondary research. She is a member and past-president of the Manitoba Chapter of the Marketing Research and Intelligence Association (MRIA), an organization that supports professional standards, ethics and education in research.

Kaye’s background in education has made her ideally suited to work with a variety of educational institutions. She has developed and delivered training curriculum in areas such as Supervisory Management, Marketing Fundamentals, Business Management, Organizational Behaviour, Business Fundamentals and Marketing Research for the University of Winnipeg and the University of Manitoba. Through her work with Manitoba Labour and Immigration she has received diversity and intercultural training which has prepared her to provide organizational diversity training. She also has teaching experience with Aboriginal and international students. Kaye spent several years instructing in the Self-Employment Program where she assisted hundreds of entrepreneurs pursue their goals of business ownership.

    The Home Enterprise Award recognizes a woman who has developed a successful, full-time business that provides a viable product and/or service. Through her initiative and hard work, she has established a solid framework for her business and has used creative solutions to deal with the challenges of running a home enterprise. The continued viability of her business is based on a clear marketing strategy and is supported by a solid plan for growth.”

A fitness enthusiast, Kaye has completed several half-marathons and has cycled in the Maritimes and across Western Canada with her two sons. Kaye believes that business success is like physical fitness – it is an ongoing process that is made easier when you have a team of professionals supporting and encouraging you along the journey.
